About SCS 2025

Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER Kolkata will be organizing a two-day Conference/Workshop on “Sustainability in Chemical Sciences” (SCS 2025) under the Scientific Social Responsibility component of the SERB-CRG project during 3–4 December 2025. The programme will begin on 3rd December and continue through 4th December, featuring thematic sessions dedicated to sustainable practices, green methodologies, and emerging directions in chemical sciences. The event will include invited lectures from scientists and faculty members across IITs, IISERs, national research institutes, and universities in allied areas of chemistry. This programme aims to provide a platform for discussing recent advances in sustainable chemical research, exchanging ideas across sub-disciplines, and fostering long-term collaborations. The organizing committee welcomes researchers and students to participate in this meeting and contribute to a productive exchange of knowledge in the frontier areas of sustainable chemical sciences.
