About CRS Symposium 2024

Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER Kolkata will be organizing a two-day symposium as a part of award lectures of the ‘Chirantan Rasayan Sanstha’ (CRS) during July 29-30, 2024. This symposium will start at 9:00 AM on 29th July and will continue till evening on 30th July, 2024 to showcase theme of research of individual faculty members who are bestowed with the CRS Awards for the year 2024. We are expecting to have 28 invited talks from various academic institutions such as IITs, IISERs, Research Institutes and Universities. The organizing committee takes the pleasure of inviting you to this chemistry meet. The conference includes invited lectures, and poster presentations by our own chemists and scientists working in the allied areas of chemistry from India. This conference provides a platform for scientists and faculty members to discuss the recent developments in chemical sciences across the sub-disciplines. In addition, this also creates opportunities to exchange ideas and to build long lasting collaborations in the frontier areas of chemistry and its allied disciplines. It is expected to have vibrant Chemistry discussion and idea exchange through the presentations by the faculty members and the poster presentations by the student participants.
